Best 195/50 R15 82V tyres?

I’ve acquired some 15 inch rims to replace my 14 inch ones (which look too small and it’s hard to get V rated tyres this size).

Assuming price is not an issue - what would be the best quality tyres to get (for “fast” road use)?

I have Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 on the current rims - is there anything better than these (which are pretty good)?

Good for you! 15" is the futureWink I am currently running £43 per corner Yokohama Parada 2`s (from Demon Tweeks) they are brilliant in both wet and dry conditions and look superb as a bonus:

They certainly look like they are well suited to rain, with the large channels.

Good morning, what I really like about them is the large amount of rubber in the outer shoulder area - they feel like a semi-slick in the dry and very grippy when turning-in and during hard cornering but also very good in monsoon or Welsh rain conditions like todayWink Am hopeful this concentration of rubber on the outer shoulder might help them to out-last the usual Toyo T1R`s which are great also but have a habit of becoming less than road legal all too briskly.

I’m on my second set of Goodyear F1 GSD3 tyres and I love them, superb in the dry, very stickey and predictable in the wet

I changed from the original Michelin Pilots on my mk2 1.8iS to Uniroyal Rainsport 2’s (pics below), while I hadn’t had a particular problem with the Michelins (they are hard and last long) I do prefer the feel of the car on the Rainsport 2’s, ride’s better and grips better - both wet and dry.

Lots of members at CNW use Toyo T1-R from Camskill only £36.00 corner, fantastic grip dry and wet…
