Good for you! 15" is the future I am currently running £43 per corner Yokohama Parada 2`s (from Demon Tweeks) they are brilliant in both wet and dry conditions and look superb as a bonus:
Good morning, what I really like about them is the large amount of rubber in the outer shoulder area - they feel like a semi-slick in the dry and very grippy when turning-in and during hard cornering but also very good in monsoon or Welsh rain conditions like today Am hopeful this concentration of rubber on the outer shoulder might help them to out-last the usual Toyo T1R`s which are great also but have a habit of becoming less than road legal all too briskly.
I changed from the original Michelin Pilots on my mk2 1.8iS to Uniroyal Rainsport 2’s (pics below), while I hadn’t had a particular problem with the Michelins (they are hard and last long) I do prefer the feel of the car on the Rainsport 2’s, ride’s better and grips better - both wet and dry.
