Good Morning Everyone
Having now fixed a window and serviced my Engine (With Gearbox and Diff oil Change next)
Can anyone recomend a suitable cleaner to smarten up the Engine Bay?
Daisy all purpose cleaner was said to be good, but only available from Tescos.
Thanks.

I use a General APC…any will do
Dilute it a little and spray on and agitate with brush and wipe off with a cloth…
Be careful around the electrical components and run the engine for 20 mins to help the drying…then allow to cool before applying some Dressing
…Aerospace 303 is good for this
Hi, I use WD40, a decorators flitch brush [because it has a long reach], microfibre cloth and for the rubber/plastic bits to give a nice shiney appearance Autoglym [rubber/plastic cleaner]. My engine bay never gets oily so I cannot advise what to do regarding getting rid of the old oil etc., I have used Flash bleach spray cleaner initially on my diesel van’s plastic engine cover to get rid of stubborn oil but I don’t think Detailers on this forum would recommend that
.
Oh and you need plenty of patience and plasters ![]()
I use Wilko lavender anti-bacterial wipes.
Thank you all for your suggestions, Having completed on Saturday my Engine service, (Brakes and Gearbox/Diff Oils Next.)
Feeling satisfied so today its a wash and top down run out for some Lunch![]()
