- My model of MX-5 is: Eunos roadster
- I’m based near:
- I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: what are good halogen bulb headlights for a eunos roadster? I have read that the stock ones can be a bit dim/not the best for driving at night.
(If your experience with a MK1 has been that stock headlights are fine then please do say)
Thank You
The Eunos Roadster originally had sealed beam units that weren’t very bright. I’d be suprised if they are still in there.
Osram Night Breakers come out best in tests

Thank you Richard, really appreciate the response
When I first got my Mk1 I needed to go for petrol, it was winter time and very dark and I soon discovered how bad the bulbs in the car I bought were, after a lot of research I went with the Osram Night Breakers and was happy that I could now actually see things such as the road and pedestrians (especially pedestrians wearing black clothing in unlit areas).
When my Mother bought her camper van, the first thing I got her to do was to replace the bulbs with Night Breakers and again they’ve worked great as well.

Thank you for the recommendation! Sounds like they’d be a great solution for any night driving, or even particularly in these autumn/winter months when it’s already dark by 5!
