I live down here and have been an area manager doing 35k a year around these 2 counties

there are many drives for the scenery but with that you get traffic. If you want no traffic and miles of twisty roads drive from Bideford to Tavistock

Totally agree, the drive up to Bideford to do my only half marathon of 2020 was awesome. Early in the morning not a car on the road.
