Bettabuilda's AHURA MAZDA

Hi Mick, it is what it is I guess but for the money and me, or my car being a test mule, I’ll see how it goes :+1: but I quite like it, certainly better than I thought it might be. I put the car back in the garage and the approach slopes towards the drain channel and then about a metre rises up from there to the garage floor, effectively, by the time the front wheels are on the channel, the ‘lip’ has already approached the rise into the garage, it didn’t scrape so a result there!

I caught my frontage (sounds painful) on a curb once, parking head on against it. Never have done it again, lesson learnt.
Same as parallel parking, nervous of rubbing the alloys, they been fine as I watch out very closely (mirrors angled down) when parking up.

This is the least expensive I could find but they’re all the same product.

Just a couple of pics showing the amount of packaging involved in the transit of the new spoiler :eyes:

I’m all for ensuring things arrive in good order but I did feel this was a bit OTT.

Bought - went carbon. I have a choice of 3 cars to fit it to…lets see which one wins!

Yes I looked at the carbon effect but all my black bits are just, well, black? :joy: have to say, for the money they’re very good :+1: let us know how you get on :+1:

Noted about the front spoiler thingy yesterday Barrie. Had to open the garage up yesterday and whilst there looked at my frontage (oh yes):grin: not sure it would look as ace on the NC1 as it does on yours?
Pondering.

Morning Mick :+1: I’ve been racking my brains to remember what the NC1 bumper looks like along the bottom? IIRC the body colour runs right along the bottom, reasonably straight? NC2 there are the sides but then it steps in a bit to a fake air scoop thingy. Might look even better on a NC1 :slightly_smiling_face: Only thing, as has been mentioned, ever so slightly lower and protrudes forward ( but not beyond the nose) your Meister set up would sort the few mm difference  Remember though, it is a £20-30 item :astonished: might not be up to your standard Mick? :white_check_mark:

Barrie

I’ll get a better look later at the front, fearful of those speed ramps, mines low enough but as you say adjustable with the MeisterR’s.

Could not agree more Barrie. Certainly with the increase in on line shopping we are doing due to the pandemic I am just “gob smacked” at the excess packaging on some of the simplest things especially when companies like Amazon what to “brag” about there so called green credentials.

PS the car looks great.

Ok Barrie, back early as our planned jaunt up the M1 aborted, accident, seems everyday now on that stretch in Derbyshire.
Took some pics of the frontage of mine, the front bumper risers from the lower air intake to the sides. Your front splitter seems to sit level right across the front under the car. Maybe as you said leave the middle section out, what do you think?

Hi Mick, not sure mate. The ‘bottom’ looks level but you have bits at the sides? Which might interfere with a straightforward fit? It’s whether you want to throw £20-£30 at something that may not work? always a risk :grimacing:

Barrie

Hi - can you post a link to the red and black side decals please. Might try a set on mine! TIA

Hiya,
just look up stripegarage.com, everything’s on there for our cars.

Think I’ll pass on it Barrie, it might not work so well on mine. The NC2 has the more angular look and it suits your car very well.
