Today was a day that a MX5 waved at me. I was at the lights in Cockett, Swansea when a Black mk3 coasted up behind. I do like mk3s, and this one looked lovely, although could be a little cleaner! 
. Anyway, unless there was a problem with my car he was trying to draw my attention to, this chap and partner were definately waving! I assume it must be one of us, I’ve only had three waves in six months

not been along there for quite some time
A little further on, outside the Cockett police station, followed past Hill House Hospital and then up onto Townhill itself, the car stopped by the shops and the lady got out. looked like the car had been hand washed recently, and a few bits around the doors etc were missed. From my recollection of an earlier post, did you not say you worked around Cefn Coed?
