Black to Silver

I have to take my hat off to all you owners of shiny black MX-5s, such as Ady, Ken, Peter and all the others

After a couple of years of shining and polishing (and a couple of runners-up trophies in the Mk3 Best Kept), we’ve finally gone for the easy option - here it is …

Thanks to Jamie Ryles at EMG Cambridge for a great and hassle free deal, and for sorting the number plate change etc and to Roadster Robbie for fitting the Eibachs, pedals, grille and filler cap. It made for an interesting photo on changeover day …

Fortunately there’s a bit of money left for some bling from MX5 Parts [;)]

looks fabulous !!! … beginning to think you might be onto something. Just been out with the start of this years polishing etc after a hard winters driving and beginning to think that black is not the way forward !!

Don’t even think about it - that car and the way you keep it are legendary.

Silver cars are for idle lightweights like me - not for dedicated perfectionists like yourself.

Hello

Silver cars FTW!!!1

I knew that would happen - notice I did say “like me”

Anyway Halli, you must admit that, having a silver car, the time you save on cleaning and polishing is spent on brilliant and innovative modifications (grovel, grovel) [:$]

I’ve only had a silver car a couple of weeks and I’ve already upset most of the other silver car owners [:#]

I was agreeing whole heartedly :)

Looks good James - hope this one isn’t jinxed![:)]

Had they sold out of them in the top colour…RED?

Haha…Very nice looking car indeed! [:)]

Nope, just wanted one to match my hair colour [;)]

Mister H,

Now I don’t feel quite so alone or inadequate!  I particularly love the bit about matching your hair colour, I’m with you ![:$]
