Blind Spot Monitoring on a 2023 2.0 Homura Yes or No?

Just been thumbing through the on line brochure for my car (above) and it mentions a blind spot monitoring system. I know my car has “lane departure” which you can disable via a switch but it doesn’t seem to have the above mentioned Blind Spot Monitoring system? I’m a bit confused! Regards

If your car is fitted with blind spot monitoring, if you look in your door mirrors when you first switch the engine on, you will see a yellow indicator icon illuminated towards the outer edge of the mirrors. Alternatively, once the engine is running, have someone walk forward past the rear wings & the icons should light up.
When driving, if a car is about to overtake you, they should light up. If you are stationary waiting to turn right and a car passes on your left the icon in the lh mirror should light up.

Thanks. That’s kind of where I was at. Miffs me slightly that the brochure says the car has it fitted but it doesn’t!

There was a specification change and BSM was removed. I think it was down to the “chip shortage”. As probably stated in the brochure, specifications are subject to change unfortunately.
