I love my cats dearly but I think they do it on purpose cos they know it annoys me. I had my car in the garage waxing it. My boy Louie was sitting on my toolbox watching me. The minute i finished and stepped back to admire my work, he jumped on to the bonnet, walked along the side of the car and jumped down off the boot lid! Leaving paw prints in his wake.

When my missus hears me utter the words “cooking fat” under my breath she knows a local cat has just scrolled across my lawn.
(Piles of lion dung around your car does the trick)

A few years ago one of my sister’s neighbours resorted to underhand tricks to deter foxes and cats from fouling his lawn, and planted a device something like this PIR lawn sprinkler in a strategic location where it could do the most good.
Snag 1. What happened when he was out for the day, and the hose popped off?
Snag 2. What happened one night when the hose was chewed by said thirsty fox?
Snag3. What happened when he forgot to mention it to his former regular gardener?
Answer to all three: sister’s hubby laughed fit to bust when neighbour complained.

I had a 2 cat issue, I did the same thing as my garden, a water pistol, a few sprays they find a place that they do not get sprayed. They do not get hurt just trained

Cats, they used to s*** on my lawns back and front of house. I’ve got gravel back and front now, fed up of cleaning up the mess on the grass. They still occasionally s*** on the gravel, can’t win
