Excitingly our friend with his racing Mini (proper Mini - not massive German pretend Mini) is now joining us for this. I might possibly be getting a drive in that too!

Just spotted this thread and thought I’d introduce myself - I’m Tim and I’ve just booked this.  It’ll be my first proper trackday, so I can’t wait.  Have wasted lots of time reading all the “advice about trackdays for newbies” threads and am finally getting around to doing it!

Hi Rachel,

I’m new to the club and hoping to come over and have a look at the Blyton event. Will be tied up in the morning but aiming to come over in the afternoon with my son and learn more.  I have spent ages reading about trackday stuff and am building a car for trackdays and autotesting. Should be finished soon and will then hope to book a day.  Have read the post by Timwakelin so would be keen to meet up and learn more as he is one step ahead of me I think.

Looking forward to finding out more and getting involved.

Thanks for that, I hope to arrive early in the afternoon and will keep a look out for you and the car. Will come over and introduce myself.  I am keen to have a look at the motors and what people had done in the way of mod’s. Hope your first day goes well and that your are ‘flying’ by the time I get there.
