Body Shop around Cambridge

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good body shop around Cambridge? I used Barr-Tech before, but I’m looking for some options. I’m happy to travel 10-15miles outside Cambridge.

The work I need to be done is to have the rear arches done, as I start having some corrosion, see attached pictures.

I do care about the quality of the work (and I want the final part to be flawless) and happy to pay for that, though I’m not willing to pay insurance level quotes. And there are a couple other areas that I might want to address (both on the MX-5 and my other car), so looking into building a relation with the right body-shop.

I have used Densley Charles several times after a recommendation more than 15 years ago, although the last time was in 2021.

I found them to do good work and be incredibly busy, which I also take as a sign of a good shop! They do undertake work on classics as well as modern vehicles and have a colour-matching paint gizmo that works pretty well in matching older paint. Might be worth a look/visit
