A lump of clay out of a firework landed on the bonnet of my MX5 and has left a dent. Gutted.
Dents can be removed, whenever I buy a new car I take it to my ‘dent man’ and he does an amazing job. I’m based on the Essex/London border if you need his details.
I’m pretty sure all MX-5’s are aluminum bonnets which makes it harder than steel but not impossible.

to be fair it might be easier and cheaper to simply get a colour-matching bonnet from a breaker’s yard!

The car is only 11 months old, soul red crystal.
The dent is small and paint not chipped. I have a name of a paintless dent company I am going to call.

just keep it in mind as a backup plan and then if things start getting really expensive!
It costs virtually nothing to phone round the breakers yards so see if they got one in the right colour from a rear-end write-off!
