Hi, just bought a mk2.5 , remote key fob works fine for door locking but the boot release button does not work. The switch / lever inside the car works fine to release the boot . Also the key operates the boot opening ok.
Any ideas please to get the fob to open the boot please?

If the door lock and unlock buttons work it’s probably a fault with the button on the transmitter. You can remove the rear boot trim easily enough (a few plastic clips hold it on) and check that the solinoid is plugged in.
Hi, thanks for the information. I took the boot trim off, checked and the solenoid is connected. I will take the car to work tomorrow and get some one to check the power is getting there, and see if we can make the solenoid work.
Solenoid is working ok, Does anyone have a wiring diagram please ?

It’s on the rear panel of the boot behind the trim near the actuator.
