So just got home from a drive and opened the boot, noticed the following holes, one appears to have a paint matched sticker covering the hole, that is starting to peel away, the other is missing and is showing what I assume is the primer coat, any ideas on what these are for and if I should be concerned and seek replacements, I’ve tried to google what they are but I’ve had no luck so thought I’d try here.
Mate, whatever you do, DO NOT drive that car with those missing!!! Those are called “Isotronic Pre-cambered Linear Impact Absorbers” and I’m sure you’ve noticed the rough ride without them installed? Yeah, well, if you drove without those in you are LUCKY to even be alive! My friend drove his car home after my other friend removed them as a joke, and when poor John pulled up, we opened his driver door because he was just sitting there for ages, only to be met with our dear dear friend pretty much turned inside out! His organs were hanging out all over the place because of the shock his poor body underwent, he might as well have been hit by a lorry, oh poor poor John, sorely missed never forgotten.
You have been warned!
Or they might just be little stickers over some drain holes or something, in which case I wouldn’t give a toss and neither should you,
