Bose CD player problem (Solent Area)

  1. My model of MX-5 is: __Mk 3 2 litre sport
  2. I’m based near: __Winchester
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __Repair/Removal of Bosch CD player
    My Bosch CD player has stopped working whilst containing 6 CD’s. It will only say ‘No Disc’ and will not load or eject. Having watched the removal of the unit on U tube it is beyond my capability. No even sure if my local garage or Halfords could do this. Can anyone recommend a solution? Thank you.

Roughly where are you based ?
Perhaps another owner could help you remove the unit.

If you cant find anyone in your area, Im in Reading and have replaced many of these units. Also fixed a couple with a similar issue. Just drop me a message if you would need help

Bit too far for me ( 240 miles or so )

Looks like Harco is within 40 miles.

Hopefully someone closer may also chip in.

Hi Michelle,

I can remove the unit for you. I have a Mk3.5 with the same unit, so was interested in how to remove the Bose Head Unit and watched a YouTube clip and it seems to be very straightforward.and I have all the necessary tools.

I am close to Bishops Waltham, so only 20 minutes or so from you.

That would be great. Would one day (excepting Wednesday)next week be convenient?
If you let me have your location I can come to you.
I guess that even if the CD player is US at least it might be possible to remove the CD’s.
