I personally like the NBs the best(which I guess is why I bought that generation). I just feel it is the sweet spot…while they were still small, but more refined than the NA(I never cared for pop-up headlights). I do actually have a NA as well, it is a more pure sports car, but also just not as nice to spend a lot of time in.

I shouldn’t be shocked because I have nephews/neices older than yourself
I renewed via Peter James [recommended by the MX-5 Owners Club who run this forum] fully comp for £180.30 for the year [only a few pence more than the previous year they insured me]…..one of the advantages of being my age !
Dunno if I remember it correctly but Peter James Insurance are interested in insuring the MX-5……especially older models like the NB
Also can’t remember if you have to be a Member of the MX-5 Club [Subs: £43 p.a.] to use Peter James
What I do remember is that there is a sub-group of younger MX-5 Owners like yourself who have been featured in the Membership Soft Top Hard Top Magazine

I would’ve loved an NA, but to me the NB is just as special. The driving quality this car has is like nothing I’ve ever experienced!

Very nice. I recently had an NB on loan while the NC was in surgery. But for the ULEZ I would have an NB more than happily if there were ever a “next time”.
