I use Brittania rescue, never had to call them though so far…
If you have a catastrophic breakdown some only cover recovery to the value of the car
so for a £1500 MK1 it might not get brought back, worth checking small print? Having
said that a good service and off you go with no worries
ASDA European Breakdown brought my family of five back from Germany a few years back without any problems at all. Used them in the UK a number of times since and always been excellent.
