Modern car leathers have a polyurethane coating. You can’t actually feed them, just keep them clearn.
Thanks for that. I didn’t realise. So I’ve just bought one with a black roof and arranged to swap roofs with an owner with a tan one. Mine will therefore not be original in that respect, and in my putting my gold BBSs on, and in my adding a four branch manifold and performance exhaust. MeisterR CRDs might come later.
Does not square up Saz with my experience all these 16 years with my car actually.
The leather feed absorbs into the surface, so there much be a modicum of porosity happening.
It’s not my imagination.
Same with the 2002 seats in our Sport, although there is a degree of micro cracking on panel the spine presses into now.
Anyhow, TBH I’m not going down a rabbit hole with this, so last (experience based) comment from me.
Not quite that dreadfully important for a debate!
Hi, love the car. Notice that you have a glass window in your hood. We have one on order. Did you have any issues with the glass window fitting? Cheers
Supplied and fitted by mx5parts in Portsmouth. Very happy with it though the wires are not connected yet for the heated glass.
Ive had a few. And are probably my favourite combination of colour and trim.
Also very popular so sell on easily
