Broken connection. Heated rear window. Demister.... MK2

 I wonder if anyone has solved a problem with the terminal connector having broken of the rear window demister. ( WIRING)

The bond has broken and the terminal has fallen off.

My idea is to glue the terminal back to the window and then use the silver eletrical paint from maplins to try to make a circuit.

Any ideas would be helpful thanks.

 It’s a soldered connection. Solder it back on.

Used this stuff on the wifes and it worked well…

Thanks guys.

I have a soldering iron which I thought of using but I must say I am not a good opperator and as the window is in situ and not lying flat I am not sure of my ability.

I did see  those tab thingies that dave p suggests and have ordered them via the net to give it a try.

I hope I have the same success as dave.

When I got my new hood fitted, one of the terminals broke off. The fitter used what sounds like dave p suggested and the demister has worked faultlessly since. This was about 4 yrs ago now so it’s obviously good stuff.
