Lots of activity from other areas, hotels seem to be booking up fast.

Hi Keith we are going up but not decided on a hotel as yet, will probably get some more idea of numbers after the next area meeting 12th Feb.

Just had a word with the boss Dave, she says if you don`t have a car by the time Brooklands comes around then you and Lynne are welcome to borrow the yellow one for the occasion?
Knowing Brooklands very well I think I would be very right in saying we wont be taking the club gazebo, there is simply no areas suitable for one, it`s all concrete, tarmac with very little grass except where static aircraft are and am pretty sure they would not entertain having gazebos inbetween their valuable aircraft.
Incidently the VC10 (ex Sultan of Brunai) is also the Ex British Uninted Airways plane which was involved in a serious incident above the Andes (which would certainly have destroyed any Boeing airliner) and one of the aircraft the original UK owner of our J2-Ltd, Ginny served on as a stewardess at the time…

Still hot, the rainy season hasn’t really materialised this year so still dry and hot although a little steamy on times. If you contact Glen she can give you details of when and how we’ll be going up.

Hi Keith, we just booked into Beaumont Estate, Old Windsor for Sat 26th April it is a half-hour trip to Brooklands from there but closer to the M4 and civilisation in general.

Just decided to go to brooklands undecided yet as I’m in work will look later this evening about getting accomadatoon if no success ill drive up on the day also got to get tickets do I need to only purchase one ticket for my wife Elaine not sure if I read that members go free and although Elaine’s is member to on the mx5 pass I think I read that only one member goes for free ?

Go into the club shop to buy the ticket, you’ll need to pay for the passenger.

full instructions on the Events section on the Forum with a link to the club shop. You book a ticket for the main member, then one for the passenger and at the checkout the discount for the main member will be activated.
