Trying to fit Sparco seats in M2 but passenger runners seems to be 4cm narrower is this right?

passenger side is indeed different to drivers side so you can’t swap sides…

Can anyone confirm if this is the same for the mk1?. I was considering putting Sparco Sprint 5’s in mine as I had read that they were (almost) a direct fit, is it only the drivers seat that fits easily ?
Yes, it’s the same for a MK1. I think it’s to do with the shape of the transmission tunnel.
Thanks for confirming this. Is it relatively easy to make a suitable bracket for the passenger side, any advice on what is required ?.

Pretty easy to make an angled bracket from 3mm steel or 5mm ali.
Anyone fitted a sparco passenger seat successfuly and if so, how did you do it?
