Get a torch underneath also.
Look in the for sale adverts on here, that’s if you’ve not already bought that 2007 2 litre.
Plenty of hinds and tips here, just come and look at mine.

OP could do a lot worse than ride over to you and get the lowdown on our cars! Kettles always on I’ve heard? 
Would get an idea of what a well cared for car looks like!

Yes, rust, i agree with that. Get a powerful torch and check out underneath, particularly wheel arches, cills, chassis members and suspension arms. Minor corrosion around the light cluster on the boot lid. They’re great wee cars but have a bad reputation for rust.
