Buzzer on mk1s, when lights on / ignition off, is this feature working on yours?

to mk1 owners, do you have the buzzer feature working when, for instance, the lights on with ignition off?

i only found out about this yesterday. the relay is there, but it has never worked. my previous miata didn’t have the buzzer working either. i don’t know if that one had the relay or not.

(edit: was originally about under dash retractor relay as well, headlamp motors not activating, but found out important new info. one particular issue was resolved).

If you manually turn the headlight motors with the red knob, do the motors start working? (Obviously you need to plug them in first) if they do, take the cover off the motor and clean up the contacts with some sandpaper then lightly grease them. I did this to mine and they’re way better.

i tried, didn’t make any difference. also replaced motors now, still not working.
