Hi Mike and Manda sorry you are saying farewell to the club having known you for the 8 years of your membership it has been a fun time, I am sorry I had to take the tough decision on the Archery to select membership with limited spaces but this is life and it is never easy but you are welcome to come along to the meets and pop in and see us, take care and will keep in touch to see how you are doing you will be missed. Perhaps you may wish to rejoin again at a later date.
Thanks Gales, decided that couldnt justify paying membership as only event interested in was archery, have spent many days sitting in fields (doesnt do my back any good) and not interested in Motours events. Can visit a pub any time.
Decided not enough going on to justify membership!
Have spent enough time sitting around at car shows, not interested in Motours trips or trips to national trust properties where both Manda and I have to pay to park even though we were both in same car (chiddingstone). Can visit a pub any time.
Things like skidpan, posh picnic, soft top sunday etc made it worthwhile but as they were stopped its just not worth it in my opinion.
Well said Mike I also wont be renewing my membership when it comes round. The SE needs an AC that cares for it’s members and NOT just for their friends and facebook buddies.
well Geoff it really is amazing this AC cares for its members just done a big event for members and have done for many years perhaps You don’t attend the south east events for you to see what is done and the SE area has three couples so you are being rude and untrue this forum has rules about insults and I know already this comment has been reported by other members perhaps as a volunteer AC for 10 years I have done more for members than you have done and I am sure that with the continuing growth of the south east we do as much as we can do. However it isn’t just for AC’s to organise events it is for members to do so too. I am glad that Mike enjoyed the skid pan events, posh picnics and soft top Sunday that we have done many times we try new things and don’t repeat everything but it is always good if members come forward to help organise events and not reliant on a set of volunteers who over the years have put themselves out for members and enjoyed doing it for those who appreciate the club thank you Sarah
