I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: caliper colour
After suggestions really, I have an aluminium mica 3.75 and it will have silver wheels. The brake discs have the black coating and I’m about to do the calipers.
I’m unsure whether to do them silver to match the rest or black to contrast and hide brake dust and tie in with the black trims/tyres etc elsewhere on the car. Open to suggestions or any pictures anyone may have.
My true red NC had copper colour (Hammerite smooth) painted calipers. Although it turned out looking like a bronze colour, liked the colour though. Against the silver alloys it suited, well I think so as the car body was red.
Well I must admit for a wild minute I had considered tein green (ford modena green) before deciding between black or silver - would of certainly been different…
Reading this earlier I was going to suggest either yellow or green. Done to a high standard, I think they look good in those colours. I think the same yellow you see on Porsches that usually have carbon ceramic brakes would contrast well with your car. I say be bold: MX-5s are fun cars that are there to be personalised
