Can't transfer pics from photobucket.

 I’d be pulling my hair out if I had any…

Set up a photo bucket account and put all my MX5 pics on there.

When I try to upload a pic to the forum I am asked for a URL, so I go to Photobucket and try to get the address of the individual pic. I get a window that shows four options…

Share by email and IM, Direct link for layout pages, HTML for websites and blogs, IMG for bulletin boards and forums.

Guessing I need either the website option or the IMG option. Either way all I get on my new post when I cut and paste the address shown is a small box with a red ‘x’ within.

I’m probably missing a point here, can anyone point me in the right direction please?     Tom.

It’s “Direct Link” you need. Second one down. Thumbs up

You need to click on the IMG Code, click in the (IMG)http box and it will say “copied” then right click on the thread box and “paste” post the thread and hey presto !! Big Smile

Just testing this: 1st one is using Direct Link. 2nd is using IMG

The second one hasn’t appeared (the IMG) so if you are having difficulty, try Direct Link - it may be browser dependent.

I’m using Google Chrome and IMG definitely doesn’t work (for me).
