Looks like the new series of Car SOS has an episode with an MX5, which will be aired on the 12th/13th May. Should be good !

Being me, I always check if the car they make good is still taxed and MOT’d. Recently, 2014 showing, therefore refurb mid 2013, there were two cars a Sierra Cosworth and maybe an Anglia both were taxed and MOT for at most a year.
The blue MX5 on Wheeler Dealers some years ago was revisited some years later and the owner, a teacher did not even put water in the radiator and it was looking pretty rusty.
Remember it is only a TV programme as ever.

That just about summed it up with the boiled egg, what’s that got to do with restoring a car. There’s too much of that kind of stuff and not enough of the actual cars shown. And I was being kind to Tim bloke, he needs a pancake alright, or maybe the fry pan.
