blimey
have you got the 2litre engine then?
mine is £205 for the 1.8
still a hell of a lot of dosh though
Just got my tax through for my 2004 Mk2.5 Arctic 1.8. That is £285 too and far dearer than my 2.0 Toyota GT86. A rather dirty engine with high emissions is the reason !
02 MK2.5 1.8 Sport :)
Have a gander on here see if you are in for a shock next time round http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/advice/road-tax-guide/mazda/mx-5/convertible-1990/21503/
Bad day for it MOT/New Roof got done too , weathers meant to be good at the weekend maybe that will make me forget… zoom zoom and all that.
My MK2 1.8 has come through at £230.00
My 2014 2.0l was £225 in December.
I guess it is an age thing; younger MX5 -> more efficient.
Back in Sept I paid £230 to tax our ancient 1.8l Vectra shopping trolley, 33-40mpg depending on which of us is driving.
At the end of Jan our 2008 2.0l Niseko was £225, 36-38mpg, as yet with just me driving it.
But I’m happy to pay it on the MX5 because of the grin factor, and I definitely haven’t been trying to drive it economically.
My 2006 2.0 Sport £265
My 1.8 2004 euphonic is also £285
