Hi.

Recently i renewed my insurance, listed all mods with receipts and wanted a quotation for an agreed price to cover the cost of mods (bbr kit, ohlins suspension, unsealing etc) they gave me a premium price for which I paid.
They asked me to take photos and give them receipts which i have. Then instead of the 14k i asked they said they would only cover 11k. I said that won’t cover all mods in which they replied i could get the car valued independently.

Does the club do it?
Anyone know anyone who can do it in the midlands?

Undersealing is a modification now?

Any officer of the club can do a valuation, if they want to (they don’t have to). That valuation is based on what they know, and might not be the same as yours.

Ask your Area Coordinator.

Ta, it was classed as whatever restoration that was done to preserve the cars value.
