Car washing in the rain

I’ve just washed my MX-5 and my wife’s Ford Fiesta (with a top-up of Turtle Wax ceramic) and the rain has started . . . just as planned.
We had a downpour earlier today which would have softened things up then this wash will have removed the grime and the rain now will give the cars a good soft-water rinse.
Rain is from the north-west so nice and clean (I hate that sand-laden rain) and I live in a hard water area so drying marks are a problem if the tapwater evaporates, but no chance of that with 97% humidity at the mo.
When the weather perks up tomorrow I should have two nice shiny cars

Any other wet-weather washers?

Yes, and only after chipping through the ice on top of the water in the bucket.

Good way to wash a car if there’s a hosepipe ban!

Thank the gods I’m not a freak!!!
Living in a hard water area the only decent way to have a water spot free car is to wash when it is raining :umbrella_with_rain_drops: or use a water filter (Aqua Gleam Spotless Car Water Filter).
Only problem is when we get all that rain laden dust coming up from the North African desert :camel: :camel: :camel:!!!
