The US version will work in a uk car, as the parts are the same world wide, it’s the audio update you have to get right, mine came from a dealer in Arizona, about a week to be delivered, as Gareth says just be aware of the extra import duty cost.

I don’t have any instructions for AndroidAuto update, I’m not sure what exactly you are trying to do. This thread is quite old now and things have moved on a lot with regards to performing these upgrades, there are multiple videos now on youtube covering the topic.
