CAT N or not CAT N? That is the question .

Hmm…Looking at a CAT N where it has all been sorted properly - front light, bumper, bonnet, respray etc etc which only has 18k miles on it and comes with new tyres and SmartTop module and is, fairly, local.
Tother one is identical model, age etc BUT £2k more and done 45k, poss need tyres changing at some stage but been mollycoddled for last few years and not so close.

Choices, choices.
Poss keep for 5-6 years and so the residual value will go down on both BUT but not sure of the ease of selling the CAT N when I want to pass it on!!!

Any thoughts, sage advice etc would be appreciated.

Cat N wouldn’t bother me too much to be honest as not structural, would be looking for good documented evidence of repairs/service history at time of potential purchase.

Loads of repaired cars out there that haven’t been recorded so wouldn’t bother me either

Thanks for responses. I went for one that was not a Cat N inthe end - paid a bit extra and I’m happy.
Your answers were helpful though, so many thanks
