CD player : how to use

  1. My model of MX-5 is: __ND 1

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __ CD Player

I have read the manual there is nothing about it with the multi CD player, at least thats what I think it is.

I cannot figure out how to eject the CD Cassette and pressing the button on the unit does nothing.

I realise I can use a memory stick but I am not sure I if I can use a memory stick and apple car play

I don’t think that you’ll have a multi-change CD player if it’s a UK spec car. Are you referring to the CD slot under the cubby box between the seats? It should be just a slot that you slide a CD into.

Later ones didn’t have a CD player at all, maybe it doesn’t have one then.

Edit…. But there is a button, so probably has a slot then.

The slot should be just behind the cup holders. Never used mine but it’s there on the ND1 and 2’s.

Thanks all. I feel stupid, its a single disc player. For some reason I thought it was a multi disk player and just did not look carefully. I note the single slot for the CD player, how daft do I feel.

So I kept thinking the ‘cassette’ should eject, sigh. Old dog and new tricks lol

This has prompted me to think seriously about which single CD I might wish to leave in that slot.

For each of the ND’s I owned that had the CD player, it was just that, one CD for the length of ownership :grinning_face:
