I have seen the CG Lock recommended on here http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/
What are people’s opinions on this? I do not do track days or anything.
I feel the normal seatbelt on my MK1 fits me OK, but if this makes driving better I would give it a go.

I tried one on a road car some years back and removed it after a week. It locks the inertia so that if you pull it tight it stays tight. The downsides are if there is more than one driver it needs readjusting each time and if you need to reach to something in the car you have undo the belt.

I’ve had one in my last 5 cars and now in Minty. I love them personally. It keeps your posture right and your ass planted (great for spirited cornering[(yy)] ) you don’t have to fight to keep in your seat and can concentrate on opposite lock and powering out of corners ha
Can be adjusted/ slackened with one hand by pushing a lever so no issues switching drivers and seat positions. They don’t keep the inertia reel locked though it just doesn’t allow the belt to run through the buckle so you can still reach the glovebox etc should you so wish.
I bought mine when they came out (albeit used off eBay) and have had my money’s worth but I do think they are pricey for what you get. Paying for R&D I guess.

There are 3 on eBay sitting at naff all money. Best bet is buy one of them. They are sturdy things so won’t be damaged
I’ve got one in my car. I bought to use on track, but used it for a couple of weeks on the roads t get used to it. I use it daily now.
The only downside is that I have to stop if I want to fiddle with something out of reach (glove-box, satnav etc), but then it’s not a good idea to do that while driving anyway.
