I intend to change the bearings in the rear hubs of my 2007 model. Is there a description of how to do this anywhere as the Haynes manual is of no use whatsoever (not a patch on the old ones) If not, can I simply take the hubs off, press the old bearings out then press new ones in. Presumably the hubs are secured on the drive shaft stubs with a large nut and will pull off or am I simplifying things? Any help appreciated.
You’ll need some exceptionally heavy pressing equipment, a long time and a very deep swear box.
Like anything on the suspension of an old Mazda it’ll probably be solidly corroded together.
