If there is still an opportunity, Max (a.k.a “The Silver Shed”) and I would be up for this!

In the event of rain, I do reserve the right to put up the hood though - on the basis that this might be the only bit of structural integrity the car has!!

Anything I need to do, aside from giving the £5 donation and printing off a sponsorship form?

 

‘MAX’ is very welcome along with his Driver! just follow the instructions and soon a packet containing the 2xDoor Plaques, 1 x Fridge Magnet and the sponsorship form will arrive on your doorstep! as to the Rain! fingers crossed like the past 9 years it’s only been cold…many many thanks for showing the interest and I look forward to meeting you , regards john wheeler

Just a reminder that when you use the Tunnel or Bridge Crossing between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00, there will be a charge of £2.50 for our cars, this can be paid by phoning 0300 300 0120 before you cross or by midnight the day you cross, the GOOD NEWS is that between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 the crossing is free, so when you all return home there will be NO CHARGE. for further information use this link…

Assuming that you intend driving straight up the A3 to the M25 I estimating your time of arrival at Guildford at about 1840. I could wait in the lay-by about 1 mile after the A3 returns to 3 lanes having passed through Guildford. I will join the end of the line as you pass.

I’m afraid I’m at risk of having to pull out of this.

Checking round Max this evening (as I know I won’t get another chance before Saturday) and I have a stuck wheel nut. It is absolutely WELDED on.

Tried all the normal tricks and am now in the process of drilling out the stud.

Not sure I will have the opportunity to get the rest of the stud drilled out, and a new one fitted all before Saturday…I’ll do my best.

Will let you know before Saturday. Wish me luck…

Friends Round London Charity Drive, IMPORTANT NEWS! please can all the MX5’ers who are going direct to ‘South Mimms’ PLEASE be there no later than 21:15,Parking will be near the 'Starbucks Cafe ’ which is in the general carpark to the right as you enter, there will be an MX5 members Photo Shoot by my very good friend Damien, followed by the briefing by Lee Pudney. As usual the Hertfordshire Police are aware and will monitor our movements.
