Ok Folks this is a biggy, 200miles in total from start to finish of Welsh driving roads through the west side of Snowdonia and taking on the stunning coastal roads of the Cardigan Bay.
Meeting for 10am and leaving at 10.30am from Hapsford Services M56 J14 CH2 4QZ and meeting up with welsh contingent at Bala Leisure Centre then onto The Oakeley Arms, Maentwrog for lunch where we hope to meet up with Northampton club on there summer solstice run.
After lunch will be the main hub of the drive following the Cardigan coastline south and onto Dolgellau.
As is the norm all club members whatever region you are are most welcome to join the Cheshire and North Wales on what is hopefully a great day out in stunning Wales.
If you have not been able to make any runs up to now, do this one, I assure you will not be disappointed.
Run routes will be available nearer the day online and of course copies on the day but take a peek at the route below on google maps (bow’s to Google Maps)
can;t believe you’re missing out the “Evo Triangle” by betws y coed and the lovely run through Blenau Ffestiniog to betws y coed too, such good good roads to either coast along or “going for a blast” as i do from time to time.
We have done the evo triangle in our spring run last month in reverse which was not the norm for us as we usually run it down to Betws y coed and i cant fit all the best roads in on one day as it is supposed to be a Cardigan Bay run.
As a note Mackers, im well aware of the fantastic roads in Mid Wales area but maybe with your better knowledge of the roads on your doorstep you could put together a run…im always available to assist in any planning.
HI Paul TY for the invitation I shall keep an eye on your events section. I have checked on a couple but work or other commitments have created obstacles. I tend to float about during the week when there’s less grockles about
