can anyone recommend a chip and dent repairer in the West London and Surrey borders area. I actually prefer a mobile man-in-a-van that would come to me however I’m in Richmond and will travel for someone trusted.
I’ve used our local “chips-away” franchise and they were brilliant when the day after collecting my new Pulsar, as I was marvelling at the “brilliant” reversing camera I wiped the near side front bumper along a brick wall… DOH Cue smug smile from SHMBO…
that was two years ago and you still can’t see the difference in the paintwork.
Thanks! I’ve seen their vans around. I’ve requested a quote and will see where it goes from there. Sadly I think keeping up with chips and dents from other stupid people bashing me with their doors is going to be a long term thing and could turn into an expensive hobby. I was hoping that because the Five is small and sporty looking people might be more careful. Alas Stupid is as stupid does.

spoke to Chips Away…not impressed with their customer focus…maybe it was an off day. Less impressed with their quote. £200+VAT for a scratch that would hide under a shirt button.

it appears I may have to eat my words…have been advised by a different repairer that the location of the scratch means the whole panel would need a respray…is this normal?..
