Chip Repair recommendation and paint colour?

hi all, hope I have the right part of the forum.

Where do I find out the exact colour of my car please? She’s an NC 3.75 in the lighter silver…could be dolphin I suppose, but I have no idea it’s like a steel metallic grey, not the dark silver grey.

Some irresponsible bleep bleep has knocked my car with a door and I have a chip/dent. 

I’m looking for recommendadtions for professional repairers in West London/Surrey but it also made me realise I haven’t seen anything on the paperwork that helps me know what colour I have.

Sounds like you have a Venture 2 special edition? in which case I think your after Meteor Grey. The following link takes you to a website containing all the special editions which should tell you more.

Take her to a Mazda dealer and they will be able to pull the paint code off the identification plates on the car.

Hi as I understand it , you will need to give the vehicle details to the dealer ,who will obtain the paint code for you . I did this with my car as there was no code on the car .Looks like my colour Aluminium silver 38P . Sorry can,t help with body work in your area

Hi Mark, I don’t think she’s a special. she’s a 2L Sport Tech Nav. Facelift NC. I’m actually amazed I’m picking up the lingo!

i was hopin there would be a sticker somewhere that gave a colour or code, the V5 just says silver, of course.

I’ve attached a better pic but of course even a picture changes the colour.

I think its Paint Code 42A METEOR GREY

The code should be on a plate under the bonnet.

I called my local Mazda dealer. Didn’t even need the VIN just the reg was enough. Aluminium, 38P.
