Hi Everyone,
Not long too go now so here are the final details, as discussed at the meeting.
The Function Room at the Longford will be available to us from 7pm. The cold buffet (with bottomless chips!) will be served at 8pm followed by the disco.
We shall be arriving about 2 o’clock to make preparations for the evening, so come and have a drink with us if you arrive early. There are 28 of us booked in at the Premier Inn and we have once again negotiated a special price for breakfast, which is £5.25 instead of £8.25 per person. This should be paid for when checking in, and you will get the discount by saying you are with the MX5OC party.
As the Beefeater are holding their breakfast with Santa event on the Sunday morning, the restaurant is likely to be very busy and full of children (not good for hangovers). We have therefore arranged to have our breakfast in the function room upstairs and all 28 of us are booked in at 9am.
Sue and Graham have said they will be wearing their Crimbo jumpers to breakfast and thought it would be fun if we all joined in and wore something festive, especially as Santa has promised to pay us a visit!
Really looking forward to this as always.
