Cigarette lighter adapter

Forgive the simple question but my 2011 nc has usb sockets fitted in place of the cigarette lighter. While this is great I am a little paranoid I have no cigarette lighter for checking and putting air in my tyres (unless there is another socket I don’t know about in an NC!). I have seen this Amazon.co.uk And wanted to check if it would cause me any issues to use the compressor via this adapter? I don’t want to blow any fuses etc?

Don’t know if you’ve scrolled down the listing far enough, but the ad does say unsuitable for tyre inflators, and any device requiring more than 10 watts.

Is it possible someone has just installed one of those flush looking USB port things that plugs into the cigarette lighter?

If you are ok with removing your radio and surrounding trim, you’ll be able to see the back of the cigarette/12v jack.

If it does appear to have been replaced, you should be able to order the OEM part and pop it back in!

Thank you. I’m not technical at all but would assume it is something wired in as it is what is needed for my apple car play to work on
The screen. Ive had a look as this adapter I found isn’t suitable at cordless rechargeable compressors which might be my best option I think.

Not a cordless but our Ring pump does a good job (certainly a lot better than our Goodyear which gave up on the first use).

That said, I usually just use a Michelin foot pump:

For those of us who have CTek comfort adaptors hard wired into our cars, you can get a cigarette lighter socket adaptor which plugs into this.

or you can get an adaptor which plugs into the mains (I use one of these in the garage when checking my tyre pressures rather than plugging the compressor into the car):
