I’m looking to replace my cigarette lighter to a USB port… Has anyone done this? Is it easy enough to do? Also where do you get the dam things from.

Just buy an adaptor

Agree with BobM - just use an adaptor.

What will you plug your tyre inflator in to if you have no cigarette lighter ?

I used one these, fits completely flush. Not cheap but been reliable.

My cigarette lighter itself hasn’t worked for years

BUT concur…how would I inflate my tyres without that connection !!

Love one of these but the wattsge is enormous and my Galaxy A71 phone doesnt appear to be compatible, despite being usb3

A charger should only “give” what an appliance “asks” for, if your phone only needs a lower charge that’s all it should take.

If the lighter socket doesn’t work for your tyre pump this will get you out of a fix.
