- The car is a 1993 Mazda Eunos V-Spec roadster (1.8L manual) imported from Japan by MX5 City in 2008.
• Now, as a 75 year old, I have been the only UK owner since importing, but it now needs to go to a younger owner who can get the pleasure of enjoying this increasing-value classic.
• The car is finished in classic Neo-Green (BRG) with a tan interior, vinyl hood, rear tonneau and leather upholstery.
• It features wooden Nardi fittings (Steering wheel, gear knob and hand-brake)
• At purchase the car showed 105969Km, and now 137009Km, (85133 miles) - representing a total of only 19,285 miles over my 16 years of ownership, but very little in recent years.
• The car was further undersealed and waxoyled immediately after purchase from MX5 City.
• It has a Thatcham Cat 2 alarm, CD radio (never used) and two keys with Krooklok.
• All electrics and mechanicals work well and it has very rarely been used in the rain.
• The car has never been raced or attended track-days – I have too much respect for the car.
• Previous work includes replacement vinyl hood (2015), cambelt and water pump (2016), replace Bilsteins with OEM shockers (2017), weld and plate both rear wheel arches (for 2022 and 2023 MOT’s) – the removed Bilsteins and springs are included in the sale.
• The car carries the original shipping labels, and includes the (Japanese) owner manuals, a part-tonneau, heavy-duty over-cover and an Autoglym cleaning pack.
• Unfortunately, I have hardly driven the car in recent years, but I run the engine every month, so it is ready to enjoy the summer weather, and for many years to come.
• There is a MOT to mid-July 2024 and we are based in Belper area of Derbyshire.
• Unfortunately, there is sun damage (hair-line cracks) to the neo-green paintwork of some upper body panels, so it is being offered for sale at £2950.
