I still plan to own another Brooklands 280 Capri. Had one in the nineties, got it into mint condition and featured in a couple of national Ford magazines.
With those lovely free flow manifolds and 3.5" tail pipes it went and sounded a treat. I bloody loved that car and i will have another soon.

Honestly … it’d be one of these : It’d have to be the Bay Window and not a splittie. Always longed after one, but they’re just way out of my price range. One day hopefully.
I can’t believ no-one has mentioned the 250 GTO…or is it just the obvious choice?
But personally it’d be the 275 GTB 4:
there’s been one “lurking” in the garden across the road from me for years… I’ve got my eye on it.
There are a few companies that hire these out (the built-on-licence, imported ones) - I think a trip round Scotland would be great in one
Flippin eck…spooky…me too! Dubonnet Red? Or is that different?
Oh, and it’s stable mate would be an often forgotten dream machine…

7 ltrs of hooligan in a svelte Italian suit.
I don’t understand why anyone would pay over 100 grand for one of those when everyone who sees it will assume that it’s a kit car cobbled together out of old Cortinas and Rovers.
Now this is what I’d like

Ah, money no object - sorry i was thinking a more realistic classic with the Capri.
Of course i would really like the original Sean Connery 007 DB5 - reg BMT 216A (yes, with the machine guns and cutting wheel spinners working as well).

always had a soft spot for a 67 chevy malibu, year i was born too.
Oh my, isn’t that beautiful…makes me want an Alfa again…hang on, massive depreciation, fell apart…nope, I’ll stick to my little red mazda
my second choice would be 33 EJB from 1964 (it’s an age thing)

I suspect a TZ2 ain’t going to be depreciating any time soon. There were only 12 made. Got to be worth several million.
Falling apart is another matter though
Bizzarini 5300GT!!!
Italian body work, American (Corvette) V8 engine…FANTASTIC!!
Most people probably would’nt even know what you were driving when you pull up in it too.
Got to sit in this at the Classic Motor Show last year, apart from banging my head on the stupidly-low roof it was a boyhood dream come true.
oops scuse the delay not been in to the thread for a while
don’t know much about them liked the look of the one in the series it wasn’t a well-known (to me) marque
so - looked them up so… do i go for the open top
1924 H6B Million-Guiet Dual-Cowl Phæton or K6 or 1936 Pourtout
the latter seems to have the best of both worlds

A mint Volvo P1800 (black)
or a Mint SL 280 merc from the 70’s. (cream)
Or a Mint Jag E type convertable (red)
or all 3 if i won lottery…and still keep my Mazda…OH and a
MINT Volvo V70 awd “r” (british racing green)- one has to have a family run around
Bit left-field but I quite fancy a 1960s Bizzarini 5300GT Strada:
Although Mrs. Eunos fancies either of these (am so lucky to have her!)
or these
But we could both easily live with one of these:
Dr. Eunos
Money no object? Ferrari 250 SWB. At the (slightly) more realistic end of the scale I’d have an Alfa GTA or an Aston V8 Vantage.
.
I’ve only just ‘got’ the old Porsche thing, anyone seen the streamlined car they made in the 30s (?) google Porsche type 64 its gorgeous!
