As a Winchester resident, I am massively offended by the title … Winchester is a CITY, not a TOWN (and indeed was the capital of England before that upstart London).

Be aware that the Winchester Half Marathon is also happening on 21 September, and many of the city centre roads will be closed until 14:00. I assume that the MG Owners Club are aware of this?

Not sure yet whether we can make it on the day, but if so we’ll probably meet up at the Park and Ride rather than at the Tea Rooms.

Quote 'Hi John
The run route doesn’t interfere with our run from the car park into and around the Broadway. It doesn’t touch the one-way system either if people want to do the full loop.
There will probably be some rolling road closures on the way into town on St Cross Road and Romsey Road, but entering from junction 11 of the M3 will be fine.
Will get an update on our website over the weekend
Regards
Steve
