has anybody had experience with the use of REDX in their fuel to clean the insides of their engine ???
does it do what it says on the bottle ??? or a waste of money ??

It won’t work as well as taking the injectors out and ultra sonic cleaning, that’s for sure!
And I suspect a good old Itallian tune up every now and then would do better!
This said I do put a splash of redex in every couple of months or so, but it is super cheap from Trago mills!
In summery… I don’t think it would do much to clean badly clogged injectors, and ultra sonic is probably the best bet, but there may be some benefit using it to help keep clean injectors in good order.

trago mills is that place still going ??? i can remember going their as a kid on holiday 20 years ago , lol

Yep, still going, it’s ok if it’s not too busy, and there are some good deals to be had, just don’t go there on a rainy Sunday! And park in the overflow carpark if you go to the Liskeard one, the main carpark spaces are very narrow and you WILL get a carpark dent

If you don’t mind waiting a while and a trip up the A1, A10, A14 and A11to Norwich, we’re going to hopefully be cleaning engines a little bit better than RedEx will

£49 for the treatment and it will be a Saturday (I very much hope). There’s also a chance of going on a rolling road (for an additional unknown fee)
