Clutch feels spongy

    Hi im lee wondering if anyones come accross this When the car gets hot clutch feels spongy and the clutch pedal seems to be slow at returning, clutch engages and disengages find and selects gear fine ive checked the slave cyclineder for any obvious leaks also checked the line for any signs or damage and had a vague look at master cyclinder and again no signs of anything out the obvious next one would be pulling the box out to look to see if the release baring is sticking on the input sleave.

I assume you have changed the fluid?

Also check the flexy rubber hose is not developing a bulge, it is more obvious when the engine is hot!

A standard mod is to add a shorter braided hose instead of the original long round-the-houses route.

When looking at the flexi doesnt look/ feel like its buldging but im also thinking the flexi could be collapsing inturnaly not allowing full return of the fluid but im going to try a bleed it tonight after work and ill order a braided replacment.

New fluid and bleed would seem in order.

Aye a think thata what it is but im going to wait till ive got new line might as well change it while im there
