Good evening I’m new to the site and new to ownership of an MX5.
I’m very interested in fitting a Cobra back box on my new purchase(2006 mk3 sport). However my car has a rear skirt fitted (not sure it will fit, please see photo).
I have contacted Cobra to ask if the exhaust would fit but they were not sure! In fairness to them they said that if I visited them they would fit it for free and adjust as necessary unfortunately I’m about a 300 mile round trip from them.
Other suppliers (on Ebay) have given me different advice from “yes it will fit” but most have said they are not sure. What I’m worried about is if the tail pipes are not long enough with the skirt fitted?
If anyone has one fitted or a photo of one fitted with this skirt I would love to hear from you.
Any advice would be great.
