Found 5 John Player’s “New Crush” in my little workshop this morning, complete with lighter in the packet. Mmmm…
How long they have been there is a mystery.
Anyway…they are in the Green Bin and tomorrow is uplift day.

2 weeks today, so far so good.
Enjoying 1st benefit.
What a superb bit of engineering relative to the price. Self winder, no date or calendar. Simples.
Some of JC McCabe stuff is pretty flashy-chronic, but others restrained, functional & business like.

Now I’ve a recent box of around 40 pens from Australia of home made ( kit type) wooden nib pens & a rare gold plate Parker nib pen to restore…and I’ve just found out the nib is £78.00…being solid 18ct. Another “Left in Will” situation, but I’ve ordered the nib…be rude not to.
What I do with them after…no idea!
Mainly, helps keep me occupied!
But no, not really inclined to light up. Well, for most of the day!

Don’t get me wrong, after a Ruby Murray or summat, a ciggy would ( have) been nice later.
Now however I’m “discovering” subtle aromas & tastes on another level.
Like an excellent genuine charcoaled Tennessee sippin’ whisky with a dash of Highland Spring & ice.
Now…where’s me pipe…
