We've been invited as a Club to visit the Nottingham Transport Museum and Great Central Railway in Ruddington (just south of Nottingham), on Sunday 9th August.

An area of the car park will be cordened off for MX5 parking and as a thankyou for attending as a Club they are offering half price admission of £4 per adult and £2 per child (up to age 14).
This is aimed at a family day, so you are still more than welcome to attend in a family car and still get the reduced entry price (bring your Club Membership card just in case).
I've included a link to the website above and have passed leaflets around at the meets. I've summarised the facilities below:-
Main station with scenic train rides
Railway workshops
Signal Box, to view departing trains
Miniature railway with 'ride on' trains for children
Model railway display
Bus depot and classic bus collection
Cafeteria selling hot and cold food, plus snacks and drinks
The centre opens at 10:45am, so please arrive for this time, with the intention of entering at 11am.
